As I mentioned last year, I have been trying to re-establish a steady reading habit since 2020 now. I was an avid reader from fifth grade all the way through high school. I’d devour books in a single day. But once I graduated, fell into the daily grind of a job and every adulting task … Continue reading 2025 Year in Books & 2026 Reading Challenge
Year in Review
2025 Publishing Wrapped
It’s that time of year again. The time where everyone shares their yearly updates of what they accomplished in anticipation of the coming new year and its new goals. I’m jumping on that train once again with the rest of the Writing Community. 2025 was another rollercoaster of a year for me. Things went right … Continue reading 2025 Publishing Wrapped
Fourth Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
December has come to an end. The fourth quarter of 2025 honestly doesn't even warrant this wrap-up post. There is really nothing of great importance for me to talk about. Well, I suppose I did leave y’all on a small cliffhanger regarding the dream job of my delayed third quarter wrap-up. I mentioned then that … Continue reading Fourth Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
Third Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
If you’re wondering why this is popping up on your feed and in your email two and a half months late, we’re just going to pretend that it’s the beginning of October for a few moments. I mean, this post is backdated like it was posted two and a half months ago because it will … Continue reading Third Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
Second Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
The first half of 2025 has come and gone already. How are we already six months in? These last two months especially have felt like they've flown by. Halfway through means I have come upon the time for another quarter wrap-up of how my year is going. April went swimmingly. Everything fell neatly into place. … Continue reading Second Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
“A Year Ago…”
“A year ago, I never imagined I’d…” You hear that saying a lot in the Writing Community. Some people can accomplish more than one first draft in a year. Some can have a fully polished novel in that same time frame. Some can multi-task multiple books and ideas at once. Some can make it through … Continue reading “A Year Ago…”
First Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
I don’t want to do constant updates when things change daily, weekly, and monthly. I’m sure nobody wants to read that many updates either. So I decided to break up the year in quarters with a type of progress report every three months. This idea won’t replace my original end of the year wrapped or … Continue reading First Quarter 2025 Wrap-Up
2024 Year in Books & 2025 Reading Challenge

It’s that time of year again. The time where everyone shares their yearly updates of what they accomplished in anticipation of the coming new year and its new goals. I suppose I’m jumping on that train myself here. 2024 was a wild fucking year for me. So much went right, so much went wrong. It … Continue reading 2024 Publishing Wrapped
Reflecting On 2016
I've been quite absent here the past week or so. Last week was a total madhouse of things going on with the holiday season. The week before Christmas is the final and worst Hell Week when you work retail. Since I had my own things I had to finish to be ready for the holiday … Continue reading Reflecting On 2016
